Carroll played their cross town rival Kuemper Catholic on April 25th, who they haven't defeated in 10 years! The teams were hyped to play each other to have a chance to win the trophy and bragging rights for the year. Carroll was able to take the win 3-2 in overtime with a goal by Trey Hunter. Trey Hunter scored the first goal of the night at the 7:19 mark in the first half. Christian Best added another goal for Carroll with 6:27 left in the first half to make it 2-0 with Carroll on top going into the break. Kuemper added 2 goals of their own with 29:36 left and 4:02 left in the second to tie the match and force overtime. Carroll scored a goal by Trey Hunter with his head off of a pass from Markus Wagner to win the game. Congratulations to the Tigers!
