Cam Kinkade was selected Academic All-State for Wrestling. The IGCA recognizes senior athletes that meet 2 of the following criteria: ACT Score 27 or higher, Cumulative GPA 3.85 or higher, top 5-10% of their school's senior class.

Ali Kock was 1 of 23 girls basketball players in all classes named Academic All-State by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association. The 2026 Northwest Bank Academic All State team has the following averages: An ACT composite of 26.4, a scoring average of 18.6, and a GPA of 4.1.

Three works of art from students at Carroll High School have been selected for the Buena Vista Western Iowa Salon Exhibition, a prestigious juried show open to high school students in grades 9–12 across Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Student work was from Senior Studio and Clay I classes taught by Visual Arts Instructor Frances O’Leary.

Sophie Hoevelkamp competed at the state level of the American Legion Oratorical Contest on Sunday and received second place. She spoke about the importance of Constitutional due process and providing veterans with the legal representation they need when navigating benefits disputes. Only three students qualified to compete in this stage of the contest. Through a prize money matching program within the Legion, her $1,500 prize was doubled to $3,000. Awesome work, Sophie!
